NOTE: The EA patch for Pets ruined the animations on a number of user made items, beds included. Thanks to Grant at Sims 3 Stuff n Things there is now a fix for this. If you have created a custom content bed and want to fix the animations he has posted a tutorial on how to do this here:
Tutorial to fix bed animations
If you have patched with the Pets patch you will need to redownload the bed. The first link is the unfixed version for people without the patch and the second link is for people who have the Pets patch installed.
This version of the EA heart bed makes it recolorable in many ways. It includes 2 textured versions using textures created by Bosie for the Sims 2 heart bed. The first choice in Buy Mode is the EA original bed with the unrecolorable heart. The next three choices are fully recolorable. The last two choices include unrecolorable carved and leather textures by Bosie. In total there are 6 choices in Buy mode. The EA animations work exactly as they do on the original bed. The bedding on the textured frames is still recolorable.
The bed is a default replacement and requires HELS. Credit and thank you to Bosie for giving me permission to use the texture. Thank you to Sunhair and Srikandi for inspiration, ideas, and suggestions.

You will need to set up your game to install Sims 3 .package files to use the HELS bed. The way that EA made the game makes it impossible for me to upload a default replacement object in Sims3Pack format.
Here is the link for help with using Sims 3 .package format items:
