Zelda Curtain Set

Posted by orangemittens on March 7, 2013

This curtain set is made to be as flexible as I could manage so that it will fit a variety of windows.  It includes one tile and two tile curtains, left, right, and center single panels, and an empty one tile curtain rod.  The curtain also slides up and down so that it will go with windows of varying height and distance from the floor.  The panels lie a little distance from the wall so that it will fit with some of EA’s thicker windows although not with all of them…some of EA’s sills are extremely thick and those will protrude through the panels of this set.  The panels fall in graceful yet simple folds allowing this curtain set to fit with just about any decor from traditional through modern.

Each curtain has three recolorable channels so that you can recolor the front and back separately.  This allows a uniform look from outside the house even if the curtains match varying room decor inside.  The rod is also recolorable.  The curtain rod itself is minimalistic allowing the set to fit well in places that other curtains will clip adjacent walls such as in octagonal rooms.  The set comes in both Sim3Pack and .package formats and the downloads are below the first picture.

A known issue with curtains that can slide up and down is that a window cannot be placed behind them.  That is, in order to use this curtain you will have to first place the window and then place the curtain on the window.  If you want to move the curtain and window to a different place you will have to move the window first and then put the curtain in place over it.

The first picture shows the left, center, and right panels on a trio of single windows.  Other combinations are shown below.  I hope you enjoy the set.

Wonderful blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any suggestions? Thanks!
